X Factor Bans Calvin Harris
Calvin Harris, a Scottish dance star, has been banned from “X Factor” indefinitely, a punishment for invading the show’s stage on Saturday night during a performance from John and Edward Grimes. Many people watching at home or on YouTube probably didn’t notice it, but show bosses sure did!
“X Factor” executives were furious that the star was able to take a pineapple into the show, which he then used to mimic the hairstyle of Jedward, running on stage holding it up to his head in front of millions of viewers. During his on stage invasion, Harris grabbed the twins and slapped his rear before running off the other side. It was only seconds later that security guards threw him out of the building.
A source said that head judge Simon Cowell didn’t see the funny part of the mockery, and thinks Harris is an idiot. Now the show bosses have been told to make certain the show is safe for the contestants, as this could have been a crazy person with a knife instead of a goofy star with a pineapple, the source continued. They also noted that Harris was suppose to be a guest on “Xtra Factor”, but not anymore, adding that he could have ruined the show.
A majority of fans didn’t even realize the stunt, as the twins continued their performance without hesitation. What else would they have done? It, no doubt, surprised them, so if had been a crazed non-fan with a weapon, at least one of them may be in the hospital right now or worse. Jedward aren’t the best contestants on the show (far from it), but they are still people!
