It is a sad fact that many species of wild animals are near extinction, no thanks to the many poachers who prey on these animals to sell them off for a fee. How many elephants have lost their lives for the simple reason that someone wants an ivory tusk displayed in their living room?
The elephants are not alone in this tragic plight as so many other wild animals are hunted down and their body parts sold off to the highest bidder. Animal Rights movements have made their plea to the world to help protect all animals particularly the endangered ones as in the end; it is the environment and the people who will suffer when all animals will just be part of history.
Aspinall Foundation protects endangered animals and they need your help.
The Aspinall Foundation was founded by the late John Aspinall to conserve and protect endangered animals as well as all other wild animals. The animals are under their care at the Port Lympne Wild Animal Park and other parks and rehabilitation centers located in Kent as well as Gabon and Congo.
Gorillas, pandas, tigers, monkeys, lemur and rhinos are only some of the more than ninety different species under their care at the moment.
How can you help?
There are several ways that you can help the foundation. The first one is through their adopt-an-animal program. You can choose from their selection of animals which one/s you would like to adopt.
You will be given a certificate for your adoption plus entrance fees for their parks and conservation areas are waived.
You can also simply donate any amount to the foundation if you’re still undecided about adopting an animal. Best of all, help spread the word about these endangered animals and don’t buy any products made from their hide or skin or other body parts.
